I like to create with no destination in mind and with no one else to approve or collaborate on the process. The wandering that I do in my studio work keeps me alive creatively and feeds all of my other work which is more collaborative.
I have played with different media like cut paper, stencil, embroidery and bread. And I always go back to the pure pleasure of painting.
I show my work at the i.e. gallery in Edison WA,.
Some of my paintings are available as prints at www.juliepaprika.com. If you see an image that you would like that is not already on the site it can usually be made as a custom print.
